Do I need a green thumb?

No. Verdant OS handles light, water, and nutrient dosing automatically. You pop seedlings into the slots and harvest when the app tells you they're ready — usually 3 to 5 weeks, depending on the crop.

How much produce will I actually grow?

A Verdant One on a 4 m² patio comfortably yields around 2 kg of fresh greens per week — enough lettuce, herbs, and small leafy crops for a household of three. Commercial systems scale linearly from there.

What does it cost to run?

Under $9 per month in electricity for a Verdant One in most regions, and one nutrient cartridge per quarter (included for the first year). Pesticide-free produce at supermarket prices, grown in the kitchen.

How long is delivery and setup?

Verdant One ships in 5 business days and is fully self-installed in under an hour — no plumbing, no permits. Commercial Bay and Tower installs are white-glove and scheduled with our operations team.

Can I grow more than salad?

Yes. The current recipe library covers 47 crops — leafy greens, herbs, microgreens, strawberries, peppers, cherry tomatoes, and some specialty edible flowers. We add new recipes monthly.

What if it breaks?

Two-year hardware warranty on Verdant One, four-hour service SLA on commercial systems, and any part that fails in the first year is replaced free. The OS is updated over the air, so the brain only gets smarter.
